Precision Dental Offices open from 9 AM - 5 PM Monday to Friday, and 9 AM to 2 PM on Saturday by appointment only. In case of an emergency or require urgent treatment, we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and high-quality dental care. We understand that you, or your child, may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.
Your first visit is all about you – your comfort, your happiness, and your health.
Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Occasionally, treatment can generally start on the same day as the consultation. Depending on complexity, many dental treatments can be completed in one visit. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an initial evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.
Bring your smile, but also remember to bring these with you to your first appointment:
*Your referral slip and any X-rays if applicable.
*A list of medications you are presently taking.
*If you have medical or dental insurance, please bring the necessary completed forms and your dental insurance card. You can also call your insurance company to find out about your dental coverage for the initial consultation and treatments. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.
*Complete patient registration and medical history forms. These forms are available online via the Patient Registration & Medical History Forms link under Patient Info heading.
IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 at the consultation visit.
Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.) or require medication prior to dental cleanings (i.e antibiotics, for pre-med.)
X-Rays
If your previous dentist has taken recent x-rays (within 6-months), you may request that they forward them to our office. The x-ray taken at our office is part of the consultation protocol, and no additional fees will be added to your account. It is important that we take an x-ray of the tooth or teeth in questioned for our records and also to allow us to provide you with a thorough evaluation and consultation of your chief dental concerns.
Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!
The American Dental Association recommends visiting your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy.
We understand that you have a busy schedule, so when you're preparing to visit the dentist, please remember that your appointments can last between 45 and 90 minutes.
